Why have this done?

All new, refurbished and modified vertical transportation equipment can be eligible for testing, but how do you know that your equipment is being impartially tested by a competent body? JBLC offers independent witness testing to ensure your equipment is operating at its optimum and most importantly how you, the client, would expect your investment to function. From technical assessments and data logging of the fundamental components to ensuring the finishes are to the high quality that you would expect, JBLC will ensure you are left feeling confident with your installations.

How do we do it?

We are able to carry out independent witness tests on all types of lifts, escalators and access systems to ensure performance criteria are met and that installations comply with specifications and current codes & standards.

If found necessary detailed snagging lists will be issued and additional final inspections undertaken before handover to the client.
